1. Brig Rajeev Thapar visited AGPS Pahalgam today for the purpose of Inspection for finalizing the Best Performing Army School for award of Maj.Purushotham Trophy.

2. He was given a grand welcome by students & teachers through welcome song, western song, floral decoration,art & craft display & salute by NCC Cadets.

3. A PPT Video presentation was given in the Smart Classroom about the journey & milestones of AGPS from the foundation day till date.

4. Major achievements in academics, Sports & Games, NCC etc. were highlighted

5. He visited each & every important section of the academic block: Reception Area, Library, Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Biology Lab, Maths Lab, Computer Lab, Music Room, NCC Room, Yoga Room, Language Lab, CCE Record Room, Assembly Yard & Staff Room.

6. He interacted with students & examined their work in various departments.

7. He interacted with meritorious students & stars of AGPS in academics, sports, NCC etc.

8. Finally he addressed all the teachers in the staff room/ conference room.
In his address he admired the creative work of students & motivated all teachers to shoulder responsibility to make AGPS a premier educational institute of the country.
He was honoured with a momento as a mark of respect on behalf of the entire AGPS family.

9. Overall the inspection was very well planned, arranged, coordinated & executed.
