Mega Outreach Oral Health Camp

A Mega Outreach Oral Health Camp was successfully organised at Army Goodwill Public School Pahalgam on 11th April 2026,under the guidance and support of Block Medical Officer Mattan,Anantnag.
Students and staff members were examined during the camp by a team of dental professionals including Dr Imran Bashir, Dr Junaid Ahmad, Dr Nazir Ahmad, Dr Vasujah Taranum, Dr Mohsin Hassan and Dr Najmu Saquib, along with Senior Dental Technicians Mr Bilal Ahmad and Mr Govind Hansa, who conducted thorough screenings and provided basic dental care services.
The camp was aimed at spreading awareness about oral hygiene and ensuring early detection of dental issues. Free distribution of toothbrushes, toothpastes, oral health kits and essential medicines was also carried out among the beneficiaries.
During the programme, doctors delivered interactive awareness sessions on oral hygiene, proper brushing techniques and preventive dental care, stressing the importance of maintaining good oral health from a young age.
The visiting team also appreciated the cooperation and hospitality extended by the school administration, for facilitating the smooth conduct of the camp.
The Dental Medical Camp proved to be a highly meaningful and successful health outreach program for the school community. It not only spread awareness about oral hygiene but also encouraged students and staff to adopt healthier habits and take preventive care seriously. Such initiatives play an important role in developing a more health-conscious school environment and in building a foundation for lifelong wellness.
